Both are forms of BPO, but the work is higher skilled than call handling or data entry. KPO teams might produce market research, financial analysis or technical content. LPO teams support law firms and legal departments with document review, drafting and research.
Because the work depends more on expertise, the people are usually graduates or qualified professionals, and the quality checks are stricter than for routine process work.
